Drawing on years of horticultural expertise, we have refined our growing process to produce lilies and gerberas of unmatched freshness and vibrancy. Our dedication to excellence is evident in every stem, as we carefully nurture each plant from bulbs to full bloom.

Meet Our Founder & President
Jose Alberto, Owner and President of Floral Sense, wanted to provide the best lilies possible to his customers. This dream started with his discovery of what it takes to grow the best. His wife, Maria, found an exceptional lily grower at a show in Ecuador, and a partnership was born.
Jose’s vision was to provide the biggest, most beautiful lilies to merchants in the US in an effort to bring the optimum floral experience to florophiles (people who love flowers) everywhere.
To create the best lilies, you have to start with the best bulbs. “I went to holland several times and established relationships and bought the bulbs for these huge blooms from the breeders,” said Alberto. We immersed ourselves in presenting this upper-scale product that was not currently available to the buyers for supermarkets.”
It’s a synergistic relationship between the farmer, seller, and breeder that creates the best blooms. Alberto says that they collaborate with farms in different micro-climates in Columbia, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. There are so many different varietals of lilies that Alberto has the benefit of growing a specific varietal where it grows the best.
“We partner with the farms and provide them help where they need it most, be it sending them bulbs, agricultural assistance or investment,” he said emphasizing that giving back to the farming communities is the key to having successful farms and employees.
